京都芸術大学芸術学部美術科(写真コース)在学生・卒業生によるグループ。
PGはPhoto Group、Chantはスポーツの試合などで声をそろえて歌う応援歌と真摯に(=ちゃんと)写真に取り組んでいるという意味が込められている。
